Progress in Visual Function in Stargardt Disease

Stargardt disease is a genetic retinal disorder that causes central vision loss. Our patient has shown significant improvement in visual function through electrostimulation therapy, gaining greater independence in their professional life.

Electrostimulation Treatment Process

Electrostimulation is a treatment method that uses low-voltage electrical currents to stimulate nerve and muscle tissues, promoting cellular regeneration. It is used in the treatment of Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), Stargardt, and other retinal diseases.

Treatment Process:

Examination & Evaluation: A detailed assessment of the patient’s eye condition is conducted.
Personalized Treatment Plan: A customized electrostimulation program is designed based on the severity of the eye disease.
Application: Low-level electrical currents are applied in sessions to stimulate retinal cells.
